This workshop Cyber Safe will composed of a presentation by Michael Kim out of our Youthlink Police Interpretive Centre of Calgary Police Services and a Q&A afterwards. The presentation covers social media privacy, doxing, fraud, how to protect yourself against fraud, and resources.
This is for youth that want to educate themselves about safety and how to protect themselves online and understand the dangers of the web! In a world where the internet has become increasingly open and cybercrime running rampant, taking advantage of vulnerable people and anonymity, youth in particular must be ready to confront this. This workshop aims to help youth better understand the new technological world around them and the dangers of it.
