Suri Zheng

Suri is a motivated grade 10 student at Walnut Grove Secondary who occupies herself with her studies, violin, orchestra, volleyball and small business. Along with her many musical achievements, she has been elected as grade rep in her school’s Student Council for three consecutive years. Furthermore, she volunteers as a mentor at Learning Buddies Network and is also trilingual, fluent in English, French and Mandarin. Outside of academics, she loves to go on hikes, reading and snowboarding! She is excited to build connections with others and make an impact in this community!

Celine Yu

Celine is a grade 11 student at Walnut Grove Secondary. At school, she enjoys chemistry, biology, and arts. She volunteers in Leo Club, Boxes of Hope, Love Seniors, and Keepearth and has planned several volunteer events with the group. During her leisure time, she likes to bake, read, and play piano and flute. By joining nowYouth, Celine hopes to make a difference in society and spread awareness on global issues.

Jonathan Chen

Jonathan is a student at Pacific Academy. He’s been on the Student Council for several years. Jonathan takes pleasure in playing the piano as well as the alto saxophone. He’s also competed in multiple Talent Shows. In his spare time, he plays basketball with his family and friends. Of all the academic subjects in school, his favourite is Math and Drafting.
